Jag vaknade vid 7-tiden i morse av att regnet öste ner. Det var efterlängtat eftersom det inte regnat på flera månader. Lyckan blev kortvarig eftersom det slutade så fort jag hade lagt de blöta dynorna på torr mark. Det kändes bra med en molnig dag eftersom jag längtade efter att åka ut på en shoppingtur efter ha spenderat flera dagar på standen.
När jag startade bilen klickade det till lite men bilen gick igång. Jag körde till en affär för att bunkra upp med vin och när jag skulle köra iväg därifrån var bilen stendöd. Som tur hade jag parkerat lite avsides, för parkeringsplatsen är alltid full, och stod med fören ut. Jag körde tillbaka till köpcentret och tillbringade eftermiddagen med att strosa runt i affärer och unnade mig en jättestor glassbägare som man kan fylla med precis vad man vill. Den åt jag utan att skämmas efter dagens strapatser. Mums!
